Mass communication is a very powerful and influential tool, in this case we are using a website. Websites are powerful tools because everyone can see them and learn from them. When you post something on a website you are communicating it to the world, so you have to be careful with what you put, it may influence people in positive ways or negative ways. Mass communication is used to advertise things or to inform things to people, and people like wearing things that other people wear, listening to the same music, having the same things, etc. So when a new movie comes out or new clothes per season, or a new iPAD and you see that everyone wants it you will also want it, that is why mass communication is so powerful and influential. In my case, the website I am doing is for the girls that don't know what to wear in some situations so this website is going to influence them because they may like the ideas I will give so they are going to wear it and if they like it they are going to tell their friends about it and so on. Mass communication is very powerful because now everyone uses computers and social networking so information flies faster than what we think, so that is why we have to be very careful with the things we say or we post because they may be very influential.
